Couldnt make an account

I tried setting up an account but when I went to make account it took me right back up to the top of the page. It also said a user for me already exists so I went to sign in and clicked on forgot my password, typed in my email address and a message popped up no user account with that email exists. Mind you thats the only email Ive ever had. After doing that 3 times I deleted the app. It seems to me with my experience its an app collecting information.
